There's a man with wings like a Western angel, wearing a mascot shirt, in the cereal aisle.
Yoshiki wants to turn around and leave almost more than anything. He can feel it down in his heels, itching to spin. Unfortunately, a brand of cereal is on the grocery list he was given, and if he walked right out of the cereal aisle only to come back later, what might people think? Would the winged man notice, and realize Yoshiki could see what made him unusual the way no one else seems able to?
So in he goes, one step at a time. He doesn't stare, or do anything else unusual, and when he realizes the cereal he needs is close to where the man is frowning at boxes he makes himself keep walking forward.
"...dried fruit's in another part of the store," he says, quietly, not looking to either side as he checks the list and then the shelf for confirmation he's getting the right kind. "Over by the nuts."
