Yoshiki's just another local kid. If there's one thing he's noticed about all the other local kids, it's that they don't notice things like what's going on with Siegfried. His 'folks' hadn't said a word about the man with the zucchinis glowing like a neon sign either.
He wonders if their spouse glows too, or if it's like the house he came from. If this guy will come over to the barbeque with some nice, normal, blonde American wife, both of them acting like there's not one damn thing unusual about it.
"As much as you can spare, or fit in the basket," he says, quietly, not a flicker of his thoughts in his expression as he holds the container in question up so Siegfried can assess it. Yoshiki's always been good at acting the way he's supposed to. "I'm sure they won't say no to the bread, either."
Nothing unusual about any of this. Yoshiki's shuffled plenty of produce from one place to another before. So long as he remembers that, he'll be okay.
