He doesn't know who he is, or where he is, or what he's doing here, or how he got here in the first place. He just knows that it's dangerous. That he's unsafe. That he can't trust the people around him - and that realization sparks rage inside him, because how dare they threaten him? He doesn't know what they have planned, but he'll make them pay.
Someone steps into the clearing he's found for himself and the man whips his head around. A red haze shimmers into existence around him and he's suddenly not where he was a moment ago. He crosses the clearing in an instant, seeking to grab whoever this newcomer is by the throat and put a stop to whatever they have planned. ]

Yet here he is, running a little shop in downtown Ashbrook, the sign proudly declaring it an independently owned jewelry store offering handcrafted pieces.

The business isn't actually that hard to run, at least. The experience Chuuya does have makes it easy for him to do things like balance books, place orders, and get a feel for what pieces will and won't sell at certain price points.
The thing he's not doing so hot with, though, is customer service. He knows how to be charming when he wants, but he's irritated enough by the general situation he's found himself in that his advice to customers isn't always delicately worded.
